Ecofit Sports was created in Melbourne, Australia by Blair and Tara Rohan. With a passion for the outdoors and living an active lifestyle combined with years of travel, they had witnessed the destruction that plastics and human pollution had caused to the ecosystems throughout the world. Together they realised that their love of nature and sport could work in perfect harmony, and Ecofit Sports was born.

Ecofit Sports was designed to provide functional and stylish activewear using sustainable and recycled material wherever possible. Ecofit Sports' guiding principle is to be affordable and accessible to everyone, as they believe sustainability should not warrant exorbitant price points and be out of reach to anyone.

Sustainability does not stop with the garments themselves, it encompasses the entire end to end supply chain. This means partnering with manufacturers who are ethical and committed to sustainability, using organic, repurposed and recycled materials wherever possible, shipping the products in corn-starch mailers and biodegradable packaging as well as using carbon offset carriers.

Ecofit Sports acknowledges that it is still a long way to becoming 100% sustainable but will continue to research alternate solutions, looking for new and innovative ways of minimising their footprint, developing products with various sustainable materials, driving awareness and supporting education programs to inspire participation. 

Ecofit Sports want to give back and support organisations that are driving education and action in the prevention of plastic waste and ocean conservation.
